About this Event
Help Us Build the Next Generation of Automotive Professionals!
Farmington Municipal Schools invites automotive dealerships, service managers, technicians, independent repair shops, fleet operators, and industry professionals to help shape the future of automotive education at our developing Technical Center.
We want students to graduate with the technical knowledge, industry-recognized credentials, and real-world skills that today's automotive employers need.
Your expertise will directly influence what our students learn and how we prepare them for employment.
During this collaborative working session, we will:
- Review employer survey results and identify critical workforce skill gaps.
- Prioritize automotive diagnostics, modern vehicle technologies, safety practices, and industry-recognized credentials.
- Identify the equipment, tools, and training experiences needed in our automotive labs.
- Help develop future course content and hands-on learning opportunities.
- Explore opportunities for employers to contribute to curriculum development and student training.
