Farm Tour & Tasting at Doc Waters Cidery

This event will be an orchard and cidery agricultural and manufacturing tour followed by a tasting session. After the tour, we’re invited to visit Butler’s Farm nearby where there will be several fall related activities including a pumpkin festival.

Event schedule:

• Meet initially at The Orchard at Doc Waters Cidery. Address: 22711 Wildcat Road, Germantown, MD 20876.
• Agricultural/orchard tour and discussion, including apple production, orchard management, and the effects of this year’s late spring frost.
• Our group will move to the main cidery site, 22529 Wildcat Road, Germantown, MD 20876 for a behind-the-scenes tour of the cidery and discussion of the cidermaking process
• Guided cider tasting.
• After the orchard/cidery tour, our group will move to Butler’s Orchard where we will be guided through their farm production. Address: 22222 Davis Mill Road, Germantown, MD 20876
