Far Solar return to the live stage to celebrate the release of their second album, A Billion Small Mistakes.
Formed by David and Mark (their previous band Coda became the first unsigned act A-listed on UK commercial radio) Far Solar have spent the intervening years building something bigger: widescreen rock, new wave sophistication and atmospheric hooks that don't let go.
Their debut Perfect World, mastered at Abbey Road and praised by Absolute Radio's Claire Sturgess, announced a band worth paying attention to. A Billion Small Mistakes is the sound of the band fully hitting their stride.
Expect new tracks alongside the Perfect World favourites you already know, played loud and live at one of Kingston's best venues.
DJ and originals set: LINES. Mat Webb-Jenkins lays down his unique brand of electro, ambient and shoegazing lushness as well as dishing up floor fillers across the decades.
Support: Blood Like Wine. Think alt-rock firepower with a 90s grunge edge and a habit of getting crowds jumping. It's fair to say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Plus further support acts to be announced.
This is a night for people who believe guitar music still has something to say.
