About this Event
By every measure, the Toronto Concert Band’s 2026-27 Season is going to be EPIC - thrilling programming, this city’s finest concert venues and world-renowned guest artists!
Our season kicks off at Glenn Gould Studio in November with Fan Fare, an eclectic offering of traditional and contemporary audience favourites. Featured are Ticheli’s delightful Cajun Folk Songs II, Vaughan Williams’ jaunty English Folk Song Suite, unforgettable music from Woodstock (think Hendrix, Santana, CSNY!) and John Williams’ iconic 1984 Olympic Fanfare.
In February, we take to the exquisite Koerner Hall stage for Toronto Concert Band Featuring Special Guest the Canadian Brass!. This country’s beloved Canadian Brass is revered internationally for its out-of-this-world virtuosity and engaging down-to-earth vibe. Highlights of this extraordinary concert collaboration include an evocative musical journey through New York City, a masterful revue of Shaker melodies and a lively pairing of When the Saints and The Hallelujah Chorus. Don’t miss this!
In June, we return to the Glenn Gould Studio for our Spring Thaw program. Revelling in the heat, we will feature Arturo Marquez’s Danzon No. 2 – a celebration of Mexican culture - and Canadian composer Ally Fiola’s emotive Fantasy of a Seaside Abode.
We look forward to welcoming you to our epic 2026-2027 concert season!
