Have you ever wondered how you could eat off the land? We are offering a Family/Adult Mushroom Foraging class this weekend - register for one or both days, kids are free! On Saturday we harvest mushrooms in the mountains, and on Sunday we will harvest from the coast! Ingrid (“Truffle”) has guided plant and mushrooms forays all over the Cascades and Oregon Coast and has taught foraging professionally for 6 years. Become a confident forager, add some wild food to your every day meals, incorporate foraging into your camping/backpacking trips! After this you’ll see every walk in the woods in a different light.
$50 per adult. This is an interactive, hands-on, kid friendly class! This will involve 40-80 minutes of travel time and will involve several stops to different foraging sites and some off-trail exploring.
