Join us for a beautiful weekend of honouring those who came before us — of remembering, integrating, releasing, and reclaiming our place in the great unfolding of life.
At this special time of year, when the veil between worlds is said to grow thin, we will gather to offer our gratitude to our ancestors — human and more-than-human — and to acknowledge the lives, stories, choices and mysteries that came before our own.
Together, we will create ceremony to honour those who gave us life.
We will gently explore what we carry from our lineages, and with love and respect, release what was never ours to carry, returning it to its rightful place. We will share stories and food as offerings to those who came before us, and make space to meet ourselves more fully as descendants of these lineages.
We will look to the past with honour.
We will acknowledge what has been, receive the life that has been given to us, and allow the past to take its rightful place.
We will turn towards the present.
We will meet ourselves as we are, here and now — taking our place fully in our own lives, with all that we have inherited and all that we are becoming.
And we will look towards the future.
Towards those who will come after us, and towards our own place as the wise ones in the lineage — the ancestors of a future yet to unfold.
Throughout the weekend, there will be space for up to seven Family Constellations. You are welcome to bring an issue, question or movement in your life connected to your lineage, your sense of belonging, your place in your family system, or simply the deeper journey of being alive.
The ceremony on 31 October will focus on the past, the ancestors and the release of the entanglements;
The ceremony on 1 November will focus on the present/future, our place in the lineage and the gifts from ancestors.
And there will be time to simply be together.
We will bring food to share, gathering around the table as another form of offering and connection. During our lunch breaks, we will share stories of our ancestors — those we knew, those we never knew but have heard about, and perhaps even those whose stories have been lost, imagined or carried only as a feeling.
This is an invitation to spend this threshold weekend in a meaningful way — in a circle of extraordinary human beings, in community with those who care about what was, what is, and what is yet to come.
Bring yourself.
Bring your ancestors.
Bring your stories.
Bring your questions.
Bring your intention.
And together, let us remember where we come from, take our place in the present, and turn towards the future with love.
The venue is Ebury Edge, a community hall with a garden and coffee shops nearby. It is about 10 min walk from Victoria station and the room is on the ground floor.
Systemic Family Constellations is a beautiful way to look at the real roots of some of the issues we face in life. It gives a different perspective and provides a new understanding of the dynamics that guide us in our decision making. It helps to reveal what is true for our relationships, and hopefully create shifts that would initiate healing and change. In a constellations circle we learn how to listen to our bodies through representing various family members, we learn to be in the present moment with what is and without any judgement or interpretation of what is happening.
Systemic constellations are not to be used to replace any conventional medical or psychotherapeutic diagnosis or treatment. When you reserve your place you take full responsibility for your own mental and physical health before, during and after the workshop. Aleksandra Shymina or the venue will not be held responsible for your health and wellbeing.
