Izzy is an intrepid young inventor with an unstoppable imagination and a workshop full of wonderful mechanical creations. When she discovers a crow that can’t fly, Izzy puts her inventive talents to work, determined to help her new friend take to the skies. But will her brilliant ideas be enough?
With original music by composer Paul Rissmann, this lively concert introduces young audiences to the sounds and possibilities of live music. Ensemble 360’s wonderfully dynamic musicians bring an array of instruments to the stage, including strings, woodwind, horn and piano — alongside some much more unexpected musical objects! Keep your eyes and ears open and you might spot musicians playing pots, pans, whistles and other household items.
As the story unfolds, illustrations from the book combine with live performance and storytelling to create an immersive experience that captures Izzy’s infectious creativity, curiosity and determination.
