Join us on Saturday, October 10 at 9:00 a.m. as we get the Grandview Overlook Gardens ready for fall and officially welcome them into the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy Community Flower Garden Program!We'll be planting fall mums, adding official signage and plant labels, and refreshing the beds with mulch. Whether you've volunteered before or this is your first time, we'd love to have you join us.
Where: Meet at the Thomas Gallagher Overlook (across from St. Mary of the Mount Church Rectory, 407 Grandview Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15211)
Time: 9:00 a.m.
Duration: Plan on about 1-2 hours
What to bring: You and your family and friends. Gloves and supplies will be provided
Come spend a beautiful fall morning on Grandview Avenue helping keep one of Pittsburgh's most iconic overlooks looking its best.
And when we're finished, head over to Shiloh Street for the NOTM Soup & Chili Cook-Off at noon! Great neighbors, beautiful views, fall flowers, and delicious food... it's going to be a fabulous day for the Mount.
