Spend a fun-filled afternoon with family and friends on Saturday, November 7, from 1:00–4:00 p.m. at Hunkapi Farms in Scottsdale, AZ.Enjoy games, crafts, animal experiences, food and beverages, a brief Mission Moment program, and a family-friendly raffle—all while supporting children and families served by NPH USA. Admission is $20 per person; children under 16 are free.
Hunkapi Farms’ equine therapy programs help foster healing, confidence, strength, and connection, values that beautifully reflect NPH’s commitment to caring for the whole child. One inspiring example is Darlene Milord, who grew up at NPH Haiti and lives with hemiplegia. Through horseback riding, Darlene built strength, balance, and confidence before going on to compete internationally, earning multiple medals at the 2019 Special Olympics World Summer Games.
As one of seven Family Fall Day celebrations across the United States, this event brings the NPH USA community together to celebrate our shared commitment to children and families throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
During the afternoon, you'll learn how NPH USA supports children and families through residential programs, community programs, and St. Damien Pediatric Hospital in Haiti.
