Discover the beauty of autumn at Untermyer Gardens, where a spectacular array of fall color unfolds across one of the Hudson Valley’s most enchanting landscapes.
This guided tour will explore the gardens’ remarkable collection of trees and shrubs, along with perennial plantings that bring texture, color, and seasonal interest to the autumn landscape. As you wander through the garden’s designed spaces and woodland paths, your guide will reveal the many ways plants transform in fall—from brilliant foliage and colorful berries to striking bark, seed heads, and lingering blooms. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of the New Jersey Palisades, where the wooded cliffs create a colorful backdrop for the Hudson River.
