About this Event
Composer, arranger, French Horn player Aliyah Danielle is a musician of many talents and her second album, CONVERGENCE, is a genre-bending album rooted in funk and soul, with influences from rock, classical, gospel, hip hop, Mediterranea, and cinematic music. Inspired by the innovative sounds of Snarky Puppy, Laura Mvula and Dirty Loops, this album encourages us to be true to ourselves, embracing each and every piece that makes up the whole of who we are.
In their debut performance on the YPL stage, Aliyah Danielle & The Mosaic’s septet bring selections from CONVERGENCE to Yonkers for an intimate performance ahead of the album's release. https://aliyahdanielle.com
