Parish President Mike Cooper & Keep St. Tammany Beautiful have announced registration to drop-off waste for the Fall 2026 Household Hazardous Waste Day is now open to all residents!"Keep St. Tammany Beautiful's Spring and Fall collection events ensure toxic chemicals and other waste cannot harm our parish's fragile ecosystems and wildlife," said President Cooper. "I encourage our citizens to register for a drop-off time and begin gathering your waste from around your homes. I am thankful for the careful planning of our Keep St. Tammany Beautiful & Environmental Services teams who ensure these events are a success for the hundreds of residents who annually participate."
The event will be held at the Northshore Square Mall parking lot on October 24, from 8 a.m. to Noon, in Slidell. Participants must stay in their vehicles to allow volunteer staff to safely remove waste. No trailers will be allowed into the event and containers are limited to five gallons or less.
