About this Event
This fall we're walking through the new FaithTech Playbook 2.0, one part per night, and putting it into practice at Hack for the Community (Nov. 12-13). New to FaithTech, or missed the first two nights? You're welcome here: each night stands on its own, so it's easy to jump in mid-series.
What to Expect
Eat: Connect over food: we'll have pizza, soda, and water.
Learn: Part 3, A Way of Being Redemptive: reckless, responsible, or redemptive, and what the way of Jesus asks of our power, our view of people, and our purpose. We'll also cover the third stage of the Redemptive Create Cycle, Build: pray, prototype, pause, the rhythm we'll carry into the hackathon.
Build: Final prep for Hack for the Community: we'll confirm who's going, plan our two days, and talk through how to serve the nonprofits well. We'll run a practice round of our Build rhythm, so the hackathon isn't the first time we try it. We'll close by praying over everyone taking part.
Everyone is welcome regardless of where you are in your faith or tech journey.
Attendance is free, but we ask that you RSVP to help us plan enough food for everyone!
