This is for everyone — children preparing for First Holy Communion, those who have already received it, young people preparing for Confirmation, those who have already been confirmed, and anyone simply looking for a place to belong, make friends and grow in faith.👧 Children up to Year 6
🧑 Young people from Year 7 onwards
Each Saturday there will be a mix of prayer, music, activities, games, learning about faith and simply spending time together. Our older group will begin with Alpha Youth.
Parents are warmly invited to stay too — meet other families, have a chat and become part of our growing community.
At 6.30pm, we will all come together with the wider parish community for the Eucharist.
✨ First Holy Communion 2027
Children in Year 3 or above who have not yet received First Holy Communion can also prepare for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion through the Saturday programme.
First Holy Communion is planned for Sunday 30 May 2027.

🔥 Confirmation 2026
Young people from Year 7 onwards can also prepare for Confirmation as part of our Saturday youth programme.
Those who are ready will receive Confirmation on Wednesday 11 November 2026 at St Columba’s Church, celebrated by Bishop Mark Davies. Those who need more time can simply continue their journey into the following year.

The programme is open to children and young people from all schools — Catholic and non-Catholic.
Receiving First Holy Communion or Confirmation is not the end of the journey. We want our children and young people to have a community where they can continue to belong, ask questions, discover faith and grow in their relationship with Jesus.
💛 Everyone is welcome.
