This Halloween, October 31st, Chester Castle opens its gates for two exclusive, spine-chilling ghost tours at 5:30pm & 7:30pm.
Be prepared to be scared. Built in 1070 by William the Conqueror, the castle has almost 1,000 years of war, imprisonment and death within its walls, and it is one of Cheshire's most haunted sites. On this ghoulish, torch-lit tour you'll walk the sites of its most renowned ghost sightings and paranormal activity — from whispers of spectral voices in the towers, to the apparition of a medieval soldier on the ancient walls and the faceless figure recently caught on security cameras by the medieval gatehouse.
You might meet one of the Castle's many ghosts. Bring a torch, dress for the weather, and be prepared to have your beliefs challenged...
