Libby is well known for her needle felted creatures but she is also an accomplished fabric collage artist and teacher. Join her to make a fun freeform fabric collage project inspired by impressionist paintings of flowers in a vase.In this class you will create a unique collage while learning the fusible fabric collage technique, which allows for rearranging your elements until you are happy with your layout, before fusing with a final pressing with an iron. You’ll be able to choose from a large selection of prepared fabrics and cut out pieces to create a table, vase, stems and flowers, in your choice of style and colors.
Composition and design tips will be discussed and your final 8″ x 10″ piece will be mounted onto painter’s stretcher bars, ready to be taken home and proudly displayed.
