F.A.B - Folklore of Dartmoor at Brixham Library Friday 23rd October 7.30pm (doors open 7.15) Join renowned musician Jim Causley and folklorist and author Mark Norman for "Folklore of Dartmoor."
Jim Causley is a British folk singer, award-winning songwriter, musician, and entertainer from Devon, celebrated for his interpretations of traditional West Country music and original works rooted in local history and folklore. With six BBC Radio 2 Folk Award nominations and a Spiral Earth Singer of the Year award, he is praised for his rich voice, storytelling, and role in the West Country folk revival.
Mark Norman is a UK-based folklore author, researcher, and creator of The Folklore Podcast, known for his extensive work on traditional customs, ghostly apparitions, and rural folklore
This promises to be a wonderful evening of folk music, tales and customs.
