F.A.B - COMMUNITY CEILIDH DANCE FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY - 24TH OCTOBER 3.00-5.00 SCALA HALL - BRIXHAM!We are celebrating with a FREE community get together for the whole family!
An afternoon of live music & dancing guaranteed to make you feel good!
So what is a 'Ceilidh' and how is it pronounced?!
Traditionally the word 'kayley' means to visit a social evening or a party that has music and dancing with a companion, family member or neighbour!
It's a lively occasion with music and lots of dancing!
For our F.A.B Community Ceilidh Brixham Folk band Stargazy Pie will be playing the music and their 'caller' will be helping everyone to learn the dances. It's suitable for everyone and it's lots of fun!
The Ceilidh will be held at Scala Hall in Brixham from 3.00pm - 5.00pm - we recommend arriving on time - there's no need to book but we imagine it's going to be very popular!
This will be a strictly no alcohol event so you can bring your own soft drinks & snacks - there will be tables and chairs set up to relax and chat between dances!
