Welcome to the EXPRESSO Yo Self' open mic!!!
Where we invite everyone to drink coffees or tea and take off their masks; be vulnerable with us. Poetry, music, comedy and any other artistries are all accepted. We have a variety of sound equipment to help you plug in any instruments you may need. We also have a piano on deck for those who love a good melody.
Our open mic works without a sign up sheet. How do you know when to go up??? I hear you ask. Well... look around if no one is on stage then its your time to shine!!! All emotions are welcomed, we even invite those who aren't "artists" to come up as well. Tell us how your day was, read us a diary entery, get something off your chest. We invite it all the laughs the tears the joy and sorrow.
The last 30 mins the mic will be completely open inviting collaborations and open jam. Everything goes, let the imagination run wild. Let's show the world what a true melting pot looks like.
