DEN LÄNGSTA NATTEN FESTIVAL=========================
EXHIBITION & BOOK RELEASE
ZVEN BALSLEV
- LULULUM
=========================
SATURDAY NOV 28ST 17:00-21.00
at GALLERI GUMMO
+ Koopmansgatan 2C
ZVEN BALSLEV (CPH) – LULULUM
Zven Balslev fell into the pot of punk zines as a child and now his hands are vibrating with eternal spark for awry, stubborn, obstinate DIY regalia. Draw to live, and print to circulate the virus. Unruly creatures flock imaginary covers of extraterrestrial fanzines, giant monster hands fumble precious gadgets and the noise band from outer space are endlessly touring dystopian fastfood joints – this is the stuff of dreams for thirsty collectors at the zine fair on Mars!
Zven Balslev is a Copenhagen based artist and the founder of the print workshop and publisher Cult Pump. He works with various printmaking techniques, especially screen print, and has a curious eye for publishing some of the most interesting underground, art brut, surrealist, comic art out there.
A new screen printed book by Zven Balslev published by Longest Night will be released at the opening
Exhibition opening hours:
Sunday 29/11 11.00-15.00
Monday 30/11 – Thursday 3/12 16.00-18.00
