Everyone Started Singing - Poetry and Community
A Creative Writing Workshop for Black History Month
Join award-winning poet Jenny Mitchell for a stimulating workshop that uses poetry as a way to write about community and what it means to you. What do you love about it, and what might need to change?
Jenny will offer creative prompts in a non-judgemental atmosphere.
Open to all new and experienced writers. Free copies of the poetry anthology ‘Everyone Started Singing’ will also be available.
The workshop is followed by a poetry reading and open mic event 6.45pm – 7.30pm. Sign up on the day.
