This is a safe space to try something new-to-you.
ECJJ is a beginner friendly jazz jam. You can request songs from the ECJJ songbook. We will play music together in a friendly and supported environment. This is a safe space to try something new and make mistakes. Everyone is welcome.
Guided by enthusiastic and experienced facilitators, you will gain the skills and confidence required for building connections through music.
ECJJ Format
• Each 45-minute ECJJ session will be led by a member of the ECJJ house band.
• A list of songs and their keys, from the ECJJ Songbook, will be available to choose from.

• At ECJJ, a sign-up sheet will be available for participants to name the song they would like to jam to.
• The house band leader will call people up to play their selected song(s).
• With the exception of drums and piano, participants are expected to bring their own instrument(s). Only a drumkit and a piano will be available.
