The Movie Barf film night is dedicated to screening English-friendly films in Prague's Edison Filmhub. Every film features an introduction from film presenter Ryan Keating as well as a discussion with a special guest.🪐 Lock in for this 1997 cosmic horror cult classic with the late and wonderful Sam Neill! In 2015, the first permanent colony was established on the Moon. In 2032, mining for mineral resources began on Mars. In 2040, the state-of-the-art spacecraft Event Horizon set off for the outer reaches of the solar system. It vanished without a trace beyond Neptune. It was the worst space disaster in history. Seven years later, however, it sent out a signal once more, from which several disturbing words were deciphered. A reconnaissance vessel, led by Captain Miller, is therefore setting out on a rescue mission. Dr Weir, the designer of the Event Horizon, is also taken on board. Yet no one can prepare the crew for what awaits them upon arrival at the long-missing ship.
🎤 Stay after for a discussion with host Ryan Keating and special guest, horror filmmaker Gare Scare!
