The Details

Entry is $10/team per Euchre night

Each team plays four 30 minute games, starting at 7:00, 7:30, 8:00 and 8:30

Winners are determined based on number of total wins at the end of the night followed by the number of points which is used as a tie breaker.

The Rules

1. If you order up your partner you must go alone

2. Stick the Dealer - if the dealt card is not ordered up and then no one chooses a suit the dealer must call trump

3. To order up, pick up or call trump you must have at least one “natural” trump in your hand (Left Bower doesn’t count)

4. Full points are awarded past 10: if a team wins 11-7 then 11 points will be awarded. Keep this in mind as points are used as tie breakers when two teams have the same # of wins

5. No table talk - hand ends if table talk occurs!

6. The first team to reach 10+ points or the team with the highest # of points after 30 minutes wins. As a courtesy, if it is looking like you will not make it to 10 points by the 30 minute mark, call and agree to the "last hand" before it starts.

7. Teams not fully present 7 minutes into the game must forfeit and the opposing team will be awarded 10 points. Please make sure you acknowledge and have this conversation (as in "yes, it's 7:38 and I just arrived so we forfeit this game") and the 10-0 score is entered in the scoresheet.
