In celebration of 65 years of excellence and service, the Eta Omicron Omega Chapter proudly presents the “Pearls in Motion: 65-Mile Charity Walk Challenge.” This unique 65-day wellness journey invites participants to commit to walking or running one mile each day for 65 days, building strength, consistency, and connection along the way. Beginning on September 15, 2026, and culminating on November 18, 2026, the challenge is designed so that participants complete 64 individual miles and come together to walk the 65th and final mile as a community on November 18. This challenge honors our chapter's legacy while encouraging a shared commitment to health and well-being.
Whether you walk at sunrise, jog at sunset, or take your mile at your own pace, every step represents dedication not only to personal wellness, but also to the collective spirit of community, service, and impact. Participants will stay motivated through weekly engagement, community encouragement, and a powerful sense of accountability as we move together toward our milestone celebration. The journey concludes on Day 65, November 18, with a group community walk and celebration at the Carl Chavis YMCA, where participants will complete the final mile together, receive their commemorative medals, and enjoy fellowship, refreshments, and special programming.
Join us as we honor the past, celebrate the present, and step boldly into the future, one mile at a time.
