We’ve learned — often the hard way —that courage isn’t going it alone. It’s choosing connection when isolation feels easier. It’s practicing compassion inside complicated stories. It’s reclaiming agency, one honest conversation at a time.
Estranged Together offers a confidential space to speak freely, be met with acceptance, and feel the steadying presence of people who understand the terrain you’re walking.
You’re not meant to heal alone.
ABOUT KIM
Kim Fisher’s career spans applied art, finance, and decades of sales leadership—a path that taught her to hold both the intuitive and the analytical. But it is her lived experience that gave birth to Estranged Together.
Kim has experienced estrangement from nearly every angle: being distanced and without explanation; loving fiercely and still finding herself on the other side of a closed door. The accumulation of that loss eventually brought her to a place of depression, isolation, and a painful reckoning with the maladaptive patterns that had shaped her life.
Her way through was not about finding someone to blame or forcing resolution. It was about radical honesty, self-acceptance, and learning to hold the complexity of estrangement with compassion—for herself, for those who could not stay, and others who tried to help navigate the complex dynamics.
What she discovered was something more enduring than resolution: a grounded sense of self and a deeper understanding that estrangement is rarely a single story. There is grief, confusion, history, and pain on all sides of the distance. There are those who have been left, those who have chosen distance, and those who love people on all sides of the divide.
That understanding became the foundation of Estranged Together.
Kim believes one of the most healing experiences in estrangement is discovering that you are not alone—that there is a room full of people who understand the complicated grief, unanswered questions, conflicting emotions, and longing for connection that can accompany estrangement, wherever you may stand within it.
Estranged Together is that room. A community built on honesty, compassion, shared experience, and the possibility that what once felt like only distance can become the ground for understanding—and, together, a different kind of belonging.
