This winter, we invite you to come together for a celebration of culture, belonging, friendship and community. ❤️
Join SEEAWA (Southeast & East Asian Women's Association) and Reconnecting Cambodia for a special ESEA Winter Celebration that brings together a wider Southeast and East Asian community in London.
For many of us living far from our countries of origin, community gatherings are more than just celebrations. They are opportunities to reconnect with our roots, share traditions, build friendships and create a sense of home.
Whether you are coming with your family, meeting friends, or joining us for the first time, we look forward to welcoming you.
❄️ What to Expect
A Celebration of Food & Culture
Enjoy a community buffet featuring a selection of meat, vegetarian, rice and noodle dishes, alongside Cambodian-inspired dishes and flavours.
We also warmly invite guests to bring a favourite dish to share as part of our community potluck.
Cultural Performances & Entertainment
Experience cultural performances, creative activities and opportunities to discover and celebrate the rich traditions of our ESEA communities.
Dance, Music & Karaoke
Get involved in our community dance-along, learn a few Cambodian or Filipino dance moves, enjoy group activities and join in the festive karaoke fun!
Family-Friendly Activities
Bring your family and enjoy a range of planned activities, including:
- Interactive party games and quizzes
- Arts and creative activities
- Dance and movement sessions
- Cultural demonstrations
- Activities for children and families
Artisan & Community Stalls
Discover handmade creations, cultural products and pre-loved treasures while supporting ESEA artisans, creatives and small businesses.
Festive Raffle & Community Fundraising
Take part in our festive raffle and help support the community initiatives that bring people together and make a difference.
Community, Connection & Belonging
Most importantly, this celebration is about creating a welcoming space where people can connect, share their stories, celebrate their identities and feel a sense of belonging.

🍲 Bring a Dish, Share a Story!
Food has always been a beautiful way of bringing people together.
Alongside our planned buffet, should you wish to bring a dish and contribute to the potluck, this is most welcome. Please write down any ingredients so we can cater for those with allergies.
It could be a homemade delicacy, a Cambodian favourite, a traditional dessert or simply something meaningful to you.
Bringing a dish is completely optional. Everyone is welcome whether or not they contribute food.
If you would like to bring something, please let us know during registration so we can help coordinate the food arrangements.

We believe community celebrations should be welcoming and accessible to everyone.
That's why we are offering three ticket options:
£10 — Lantern Ticket (Community Access)
Our lower-cost ticket, helping make the celebration more accessible.
£15 — Celebration Ticket (Standard Access)
Our standard ticket, supporting a joyful community gathering.
£20 — Festival Sponsor Ticket (Pay-It-Forward)
For those who can contribute a little extra to help support the celebration and our community initiatives.
All three ticket options provide the same event access. Simply choose the one that works best for you.
