The Cathedral is situated in the heart of Peterborough city centre, making it easily accessible by various modes of transport.
By Train:
- Peterborough Railway Station is approximately a 10–15 minute walk from the Cathedral.
- Direct services are available from London (approximately 55 minutes), Cambridge, Leicester, and York.
- Follow pedestrian signs from the station to the city centre and the Cathedral.
By Bus:
- The Queensgate Bus Station is about a 10-minute walk from the Cathedral.
- Numerous local and regional bus services connect to the city centre, providing convenient access.
On Foot or By Bike:
- The Cathedral is within walking distance from various city centre locations.
- Cycle racks are available nearby for those wishing to bike to the Cathedral.
By Car:
While there is no public parking within the Cathedral grounds, several city council car parks are located within a 5–10 minute walk:
- Bishop’s Road Car Park (PE1 1YZ)
- Riverside Car Park (PE1 1EG)
- Car Haven Car Park (PE1 1YX)
All have a height restriction of 2.3m.
