Impulse Theatre presents
Entre Chien et Loup by James Gnam / Plastic Orchid Factory
Thursday, November 5 | 7pm
The Greenhouse (1411 Quadra St)
$40, $25, $20, or $10
Entre Chien et Loup inhabits the unstable beauty of twilight — a suspended space where identities slip and multiply, and the body reveals its quiet, double nature. Choreographer and performer James Gnam works with sound, light and media to create a shifting perceptual landscape where the boundaries between presence and absence, body and environment, the familiar and the unknown begin to blur.

About the artist:
James Gnam is a choreographer and performer whose practice moves between dance, improvisation, design and technology. As co-artistic director of Plastic Orchid Factory, he creates performance environments that use the body as a place from which to investigate perception, memory, relationship and the unstable boundaries between the familiar and unknown.
Plastic Orchid Factory is a Vancouver-based artist-run performance company working at the intersection of choreography, design and technology. Founded by James Gnam and Natalie LeFebvre Gnam, POF creates interdisciplinary works and supports spaces for experimentation, bringing bodies, ideas and artistic practices together in unexpected ways.
