+++ Leider muss der Vortrag entfallen +++This lecture will present the history of an innovative project launched in the 1960s by Marie-Madeleine Gauthier, as well as its findings, which highlight the extraordinary spread of this production throughout the medieval West. Drawing on ongoing research, notably the publication in the AGORHA database of crosses preserved in Germany and the digitisation of some of MMG’s records, we shall consider the future of long-term research projects.
This lecture is part of the Museen am ZI lecture series, which presents current research on museums: https://www.zikg.eu/aktuelles/veranstaltungen/reihen/museen-am-zi/
