Each session allows you to improve your communication skills while meeting other English learners in Calgary.

Guided speaking activities and conversation topics
Opportunities to practice real-life English
A friendly environment where mistakes are part of learning
More speaking practice to help build confidence
Opportunities to meet and connect with other learners
Support throughout the session
Whether you are learning English for work, school, daily life, travel, or simply to communicate with more confidence, the Speaking Club gives you another opportunity to use your English outside your regular lessons.
Session Fee: $9.99 + applicable Eventbrite fees and taxes
Your registration is for one Speaking Club session.
Spaces may be limited, so we recommend registering in advance.
IMPORTANT UPDATE – NEW SESSION FEE
Starting with upcoming Speaking Club sessions, registration will be $9.99 per session + applicable fees and taxes.
If you registered before the pricing change, your existing registration remains valid, and you do not need to pay again.
If you are a currently enrolled Cornerstone College student, Speaking Club continues to be included as part of your student experience. Please register directly with our team/front desk instead of purchasing a public Eventbrite ticket.
All new public registrations through Eventbrite will be subject to the new session fee.
That last distinction is important because otherwise current students could accidentally pay $9.99 online.
Why join the Speaking Club?
Learning vocabulary and grammar is important—but becoming comfortable using English requires practice.
The Speaking Club gives you dedicated time to actually speak English. Instead of worrying about being perfect, you can focus on communicating, participating, listening, and becoming more comfortable using English in everyday situations.
For $9.99 per session, you get a structured opportunity to practice your speaking skills, connect with other learners, and continue building your confidence.
Currently enrolled Cornerstone student?
Your Speaking Club sessions are included with your tuition. Please contact our team or visit the front desk to register. You do not need to purchase the $9.99 public ticket.
Already registered? You're all set.
If you registered before the introduction of the new session fee, your existing registration remains valid. No additional payment is required for that registration.
