Engaging in Difficult Conversations

Difficult conversations can be those about uncomfortable topics, differences in needs, or negative experiences - either interpersonally or within a community. During this workshop, participants will consider why they sometimes avoid difficult conversations and their importance in building and maintaining a strong community; review a "map" of a difficult conversation and reflect on how having one could have influenced past experiences; and practice engaging in these conversations in real time.
