You don't need to get rid of your emotions. You don't need to calm yourself down every time something gets activated.
And you don't need to understand your emotions perfectly before you can change your relationship with them.
You need somewhere for the energy to go.
Emotion is energy in motion.
But when you don't know how to work with that energy, it can become reactivity, shutdown, tension, anxiety, overwhelm, or the same old pattern you've been trying to change for years.
In this 3-hour experiential workshop, we'll get underneath the story and work directly with what's happening in the body.
You'll learn how to stay with yourself when emotion moves through you—rather than automatically acting it out, pushing it away, or getting lost in it.
You'll experience what it feels like to allow emotional energy to move through your body, giving you more choice in the moments that matter most.
You'll begin to feel emotion as something you can work with—not something you have to suppress, control, or be controlled by.
We'll use somatic practices, movement, breath, awareness, and embodied exploration to experience a different way of relating to emotion.
This isn't about becoming less emotional.
It's about becoming less controlled by your emotions—and more able to trust yourself when things get hard.
You don't have to be at the mercy of what you feel.
You can learn to work with it, increasing your capacity, choice, and freedom.
This workshop is for you if you understand yourself pretty well, but still find yourself reacting, shutting down, or getting overwhelmed when it really matters.
