Emma has been a fixture in the Ballarat music scene since the mid 90s. Starting at Rock n Roll High School in Melbourne in 1995, starting off in bands Harey and Sagacity. Vocals and Guitar were her thing. Often playing venues in Melbourne and also the Bridge Mall Inn Ballarat. Later on she became a solo musical artist before joining The Vests. One of Ballarat's much loved bands. During her time in the Vests, she gave art a try and found a new passion in Visual Art. Not surprising she had a lot of fun with it. Art is in her genes. Her Great Grandfather had a Posthumous art exhibition in 2018, which was hugely inspiring. Her Grandfather was also a notable artist as was her great uncle, father and uncles. She started out doing traditional landscapes which she still likes to do. She found colour and optical illusions and combined the two. Since then landscapes have been put aside as the endless colour combinations have taken over. She also doesn’t mind experimenting with Lino prints and has found a way to incorporate the two.
