A mixed media art workshop using watercolor and embroidery
Join us for an elegant Embroidered Watercolor Painting Workshop, where painting and hand embroidery come together in a calm, thoughtfully styled setting. In this mixed media workshop, you will first create a watercolor illustration and then enhance it with embroidery to form delicate, textured roses.
This workshop is designed for adults who enjoy refined creative techniques and working with their hands at a relaxed pace. No prior experience with watercolor or embroidery is required : all techniques are explained step by step.
What you’ll do
- Create a watercolor base illustration
- Learn basic hand embroidery techniques
- Combine watercolor and embroidery into one mixed media artwork
- Finish with an embroidered watercolor piece to take home

Workshops take place in different studios across Amsterdam, and in summer we sometimes host outdoor picnic-style sessions.
