About this Event
As the morning workshop has nearly SOLD OUT, please see when booking tickets, there is now an afternoon option, from 2:30-4pm.
Join disabled artist and facilitator Ellie Bird and Jenny Staff for a gentle, sensory workshop combining conversation, reflective prompts and hands-on clay-making. Together, you will explore rest as a personal and collective practice, drawing on the writing of Audre Lorde and Johanna Hedva and from the artists own experiences of care, illness and embodiment.
No previous art-making experience is needed. There is no expectation to make something beautiful or to share personal experiences.
This workshop prioritises booking space for disabled, chronically ill, and neurodivergent individuals.
