About this Event
Celebrate the magic of Yule and the return of the light with a cozy, creative afternoon at Belos Cavalos Horse Sanctuary in Kenwood, California.
Nestled among the horses in the whimsical stables, we'll honor the traditions of the Winter Solstice through the beauty of evergreens, cinnamon sticks, dried holly berries, orange slices, the warmth of candlelight, and the simple joy of creating with our hands.
During this three-hour workshop, you'll craft your own holiday wreath or evergreen door swag using seasonal greenery and natural elements, then create a fragrant candle inspired by the comforting scents of winter. Both creations are yours to take home, bringing the spirit of Yule into your space throughout the season.
Between crafting, warm your hands around a cup of tea or hot cocoa, enjoy cookies and seasonal treats, and soak in the peaceful, rustic atmosphere of the sanctuary. Meet and greet the horses before and after crafting.
Surrounded by the gentle presence of the horses, we'll take a moment to slow down, connect with nature, and celebrate the turning of the seasons.
Whether Yule is a cherished tradition or a new experience, this is an invitation to step away from the holiday rush and welcome winter with creativity, connection, and intention.
