Written by Bill Russell, with music by Janet Hood, Elegies for Angels, Punks, and Raging Queens is a powerful musical inspired by the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt. Through a moving collection of songs and monologues, the production honors the lives of those lost to AIDS while exploring the profound impact of the epidemic on the friends, families, and communities left behind.
In addition to a portion of the tickets sales being donated, there will be silent auction items to continue to raise funds to support the Sisters and the SADAP Program before the show.
SADAP (Sisters AIDS Drug Assistance Program) helps community members living with HIV access Medic*tion and medical care, regardless of race, age, or gender. Through financial assistance with prescription costs, co-pays, and Medic*tion access, SADAP supports individuals who fall through the gaps in traditional assistance programs. If you are HIV-positive and need support, the Sisters are here to help.
