On Saturday 24 October at Electric Circus we welcome Fishermensfriend and xxxquisite.Fishermensfriend is a regular DJ across Kaurna Country and more recently throughout Naarm where he’s currently based. Having cut his teeth at the renowned Sugar Nightclub, he’s supported the likes of Smallpeople, Jacques Renault and Carl Craig in addition to performances at festivals including Day Moves, Moon Jelly and Sidebyside. His musical roots lie in all shades of house and techno, and has since broadened to the wider realms of balearic, downtempo and chuggy sounds championed by the likes of DJ Harvey and Andrew Weatherall.
Joining him is xxxquisite. Having supported artists including Gigi FM, Konduku and Aldonna as well as appearances at festivals including Unsound and Places, she blends deep house, techno and left-field club sounds into hypnotic, groove driven sets that keep the dancefloor locked from start to finish.
Expect proper late night club music from two of our hometown’s trusted selectors.
