On Saturday, September 19 it’s time to plug into the election season and meet the candidates OI has endorsed, get information on the 3 initiatives we are opposing (I-001,I-638, and I-645), and learn how to help pass the Library Levy Lid Lift we are supporting. This is where you can explore how to fully engage in the election season and meet the people who are putting themselves out there during these challenging times.
There are activities and commitments for all levels of participation. Feeling anxious about where things stand? Action is a great antidote to fear! Willing to go out and talk to neighbors to encourage them to get out and vote? Want to ramp up your postcard writing? Ready to put a sign or two in your yard to spark conversation? Maybe you want to help register voters or are worried about election integrity. If any of this sounds like you, come be inspired and take an active part in our democracy.
