Ekhaya means “home” in isiZulu, one of South Africa's official languages.
Food has a remarkable way of taking us somewhere we’ve never been, while somehow bringing us home.
Created by celebrity chef Lorna Maseko, the Ekhaya Dinner Residency is an intimate dining experience that explores the connections between food, culture and place. Rooted in South African flavours and inspired by the places, people and tables encountered along the way, each course tells a story of how food travels, evolves and connects us across borders.
This is more than dinner. It is an evening of gathering, storytelling and discovery — a chance to experience South Africa through a new lens while finding the familiar in the unexpected.
Expect a thoughtfully curated multi-course menu, with considered beverage pairings, in an intimate setting designed for conversation and connection.
