About this Event
Come to our next Educator Workshop for Teachers!
Do you spend way too much money buying new materials for your classroom? Do you and your students throw out way too many things that could actually be used for projects and activities? In this workshop, we will explore items in The Depot and how they are set up so that you can plan a space in your classroom to collect and organize materials that can be reused instead of tossed and added to landfills. We will talk about how to involve your students in creating this space while teaching them about sustainability and reuse, and will also play around with the types of projects that can come out of having an upcycled materials space in your classroom. You'll leave with a plan and also a fun sample project you'll create to show your students!
This workshop is specifically designed for teachers. It is ideal for K-8 teachers, but is suitable for all grade levels.
The workshop is FREE for teachers! But space is limited, so please register to secure your spot, and cancel your registration if you can't make it!
