Editing at Scale: Digital Textual Editing with the TiNT Project
What does a very large-scale digital editing project teach us about the practice, possibilities and future of textual editing?
The Titles of the New Testament (TiNT) project (2020-2026) explored the many changing ways that scribes and readers referred to works of the New Testament. The team, led by Garrick Allen, digitally edited every form of every for every title in every continuous-text Greek New Testament manuscript (over 3500 copies), building the comprised of over 33,000 entries, which informs research on a number of topics. This event brings together internal and external speakers to review the project, its impact on the field, and contribution to forms of digital editing.
Please join us for a lively conversation and a wine reception to follow.
