About this Event
Join us on Day 2 at Wex Birmingham on Saturday 25th July as part of the Wex Summer Roadshows. We’re bringing a full programme of free seminar talks, live demonstrations and practical sessions to Wex stores across the UK.
These talks are designed to inspire, educate and give photographers & filmmakers the chance to learn directly from experienced professionals, brand experts and leading creatives. Whether you’re looking to improve your technique, try new ideas or get more from your kit, each session offers practical advice you can take straight into your own photography.
The Heart of the Story: How England’s official photographer covers the Tournament in America.
Join renowned sports photographer Eddie Keogh for an inspiring talk offering a genuine insight into life behind the lens at the very highest level of football.
Eddie will share how an international football team photographer prepares for and covers one of the biggest sporting tournaments in the world in America. From planning and access to pressure, timing and storytelling, this session will explore what it takes to capture the moments that matter on and off the pitch. Whatever the story is, Eddie’s images offer more than a record of the game. They reveal emotion, atmosphere, preparation, personality and the human moments that sit at the centre of elite sport.
