Come dressed as your favorite monster, magical creature, mythical being, alter ego, or whatever helps your inner child come alive OR grab a new costume at our costume swap!
Costumes are encouraged but never required.

We're honored to welcome Zen Steady for his solo debut at the Arlington Ecstatic Dance.
Freshly inspired by a transformative experience at Burning Man, Zen will guide us through a musical journey exploring connection, expression, playfulness, and presence. As the saying goes, you get the Burn you need, not the one you want.
The afternoon will begin with Aviva and Zen leading connection and embodiment practices designed to help us arrive more fully in our bodies and in community. We'll close with a deeply immersive sound healing experience led by Alexandra Savage, who weaves enchanting sonic landscapes using crystal bowls, voice, and layered digital looping.
Zen is passionate about holistic well-being, conscious community building, and the exploration of human potential. Through music, dance, meditation, breathwork, tantra, photography, and transformational gatherings, he creates spaces that invite authenticity, creativity, and meaningful connection.

You are invited to help co-create our community altar by bringing a meaningful object, crystal, photo, flower, written intention, or small sacred item. Please take your offering home with you at the end of the event.

Ecstatic Dance is a freeform movement meditation where there are no steps to learn, no way to get it wrong, and no expectation to perform. It is an opportunity to connect with yourself, express freely, release stress, and celebrate community through movement.
The experience begins with guided embodiment practices, flows into a DJ-guided dance journey, and concludes with a restorative sound healing experience.
This is a two-room experience:
đē Dance Temple - A dedicated space for movement and self-expression.
âī¸ Chill-Out Lounge - A lower-stimulation environment for rest, tea, quiet conversations, local vendors, energy work, tarot readings, bodywork, and community connection.
â¤ī¸ Community Agreements â¤ī¸
Our agreements help create a safe, welcoming, and supportive space for everyone.
đ¤ Consent Is Essential
Please seek nonverbal or verbal consent before entering another person's dance space or initiating partnered movement. A smile, eye contact, or invitation can go a long way. If someone declines, simply honor their response and continue your journey.
đŖ Barefoot Dance Floor
Please remove your shoes before entering the dance space to support safety, comfort, and connection with the floor.
đ¤Ģ Silence on the Dance Floor
We practice a talking-free dance space so everyone can stay immersed in their experience. Laughter, celebration, cheering, and authentic expression are welcome. Conversations can happen in the chill-out lounge.
đŋ Substance-Free Environment
To support presence, clarity, and authentic connection, this is an alcohol- and drug-free event.
đ¸ Respect Privacy
No photos or videos are permitted on the dance floor. Please help us preserve a space where people can move freely without concern about being recorded. Photos of performers, vendors, or designated areas may be taken with consent.
đ Move Your Way
There is no right way to dance. Move big, move small, rest, stretch, sit, meditate, or simply observe. Honor your body's needs throughout the experience.
