Day Workshop – Saturday, 13th JuneECOLOGICAL EMBODIMENT in Movement
a nourishing day exploring the ecological intelligence of the moving, perceiving body.
During this workshop, we will use Somatic Practice (Body-Mind Centering® approach) to deepen our connection with nature and cultivate ecological embodiment.
We will explore:
* Body Systems and Sensory Practice—individually and in pairs
* Listening to our inner rhythms (breath, fluids) and responding to our surroundings
* Moving through themes of movement and stillness, extension and centering, support and mobility
* Understanding ecological homeostasis—the body's self-regulating process—through movement and improvisation, weather permitting, in the Salisbury garden
* We'll observe and engage with the environment, ecosystems, and collective movement, encouraging playfulness and poetic expression as we create and improvise together in outdoor space.

Practical info:
Wear comfortable clothes and layers (including waterproof ones, something we don't mind if it will get a little muddy) to adapt to the possible changes in weather. If the weather becomes disruptive, we can use the indoor space (Studio m).
Feel free to bring your water, snacks, and a notebook if you'd like to make notes or draw during the session. Art material (paper and colours) will be provided.
We have a 30/40-minute lunch break. There are shops nearby, or you can bring your own lunch — full kitchen facilities are available at the venue.
It would be great if we could arrive a few minutes before the session begins, to ensure we can start on time and make the most of our time together. Thank you very much for your cooperation!
Come through the main door, someone or myself will be there to open the door. If the door is closed please ring either the STUDIO or ART ROOM bell.
