About this Event
This exhibition emerges from a mentorship programme pairing alumni volunteers with graduating students.
The talk will be led by Alessandro Babalola — Award-winning actor, writer, director and Co-Chair at Soho Theatre.
Echoes of lives, past
The presentation explores the notion of cultural memory as it intersects with personal experience driven by markers such as resistance, ecologies, medical bias, media bias, racial imbalance, memory, patriarchy, and punk. The artists represented in this show have chosen themes that reflect a wide archetype of emotions that fuel challenge, reclamation and reimagination of social and cultural inconsistencies, paving way for new knowledge-systems.
