We are delighted to present Cosmos Chocolat for an exquisite evening with a bal AND dance workshop!Cosmos Chocolat is a four-piece dance band offering a sweet and flavourful journey through the world of traditional music. At the meeting point of these four young artists lies a close-knit friendship that shines through in their music — at once droning and epic, rhythmic and warm. Through original arrangements and compositions, Cosmos Chocolat explores field-collected repertoires from various traditions, delivering a dance event you won’t be ready to stop dancing at.
In the dance workshop, participants will be introduced to traditional dances, with a focus on dances from the Cosmos Chocolat repertoire, such as Basque dances (Fandango), Vendée dances (Maraîchines), and Gascony dances (Congo), as well as more widely known dances like the Scottish, the mazurka, and the rondeau.
