In 1989, on a quiet road in rural Minnesota, 11-year-old Jacob Wetterling is abducted by a masked gunman. A Minnesota-based film crew spent a decade capturing the Jacob Wetterling story as its conclusion and aftermath unfolded in real time. The resulting documentary is a gripping and intimate look at how an unthinkable crime touched so many lives.
