About the performers:
Extraordinary Polish-Romani multidisciplinary artist born in Wrocław, Poland, Bogumiła Delimata’s artistry encompasses painting, acting, modeling, singing, Flamenco and Romani dance. Her long residency in Spain allowed her to deeply blend Spanish culture with Romani traditions, developing a unique stage approach that combines Andalusian flamenco, the Gypsy music of her Romani roots and avant-garde experimental theater from Poland's finest classical contemporary institutions. The result is a distinctive artistic language that builds cultural bridges and celebrates universal diversity.
Born in Barcelona, Spain, Cristo Osorio is a multifaceted flamenco artist — singer, guitarist, composer, actor, and artistic director—whose work bridges pure tradition and innovative world music. His artistry is deeply rooted in his Spanish heritage and shaped by legendary Gypsy families. He has partnered with musicians in Europe, the USA, Canada and Central and South America, fusing flamenco with jazz, blues, Turkish, Hindustani, Romani and Latin sounds. Characterized by an intense, emotional stage presence, Cristo Osorio transforms every performance into a boundary-transcending experience.
American poet, performer, teacher and traveler Cecilia Woloch is known for her lyrical poems of witness and exploration, her boundary-breaking performances, and her dedication to creative collaboration and community building. Born in Pittsburgh and raised there and in rural Kentucky, she’s the author of seven collections of poems, a novel-in-vignettes, and numerous essays and reviews. Her honors include fellowships from the Fulbright Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts, a Pushcart Prize and inclusion in the Best American Poetry Series. When she’s not on the road, she lives in Los Angeles.
